York Bassmasters...
This year I participated again in a conservation project--tree planting on May 12th as part of the Bogart Creek Restoration project. The event took place in Newmarket with local volunteers, as well as some youth club members; we planted approximately 250 trees.
In 2011 York Bassmasters won an award for their conservation work.
Goodwill Embassadors...
Every year I take children out fishing that would normally never get a chance to experience our great passion. These kids have an absolute blast, as I teach them how to fish, respect for our natural resources as well as the importance of preservation in our fisheries. As you can tell from the photos, though, it is mostly about the fun!
